Miniature CO2 diffuser for freshwater aquariums
Uniform saturation
The JBL diffuser evenly dissolves bubbles of carbon dioxide, a key plant nutrient, into the water.
Simple assembly
The diffuser fits into all common CO2 systems. It connects with a 4/6mm CO2 hose. Attach the diffuser to the aquarium using a suction cup.
Efficiency
The integrated special ceramics guarantee particularly fine, uniform bubbles. The diffuser has a high-quality glass construction. The correct amount of CO2 varies in all aquariums and depends on the volume, the water movement and the number of plants. The CO2 content can be checked with a CO2 test.
Reactors/diffusers:
The aquarium should dissolve CO2 gas in the water so that the plants receive it as their main nutrient. There are various possibilities for this: In the simplest bio-CO2 set (JBL PROFLORA Bio80 eco), a diffuser serves this purpose. The CO2 bubbles vary in size; there is a slight loss of CO2 because the bubbles also reach the water surface. In the JBL PROFLORA TAIFUN P the connection to the water is provided by a ceramic disc. The CO2 is forced through it in the form of tiny bubbles that dissolve in the aquarium water on their way to the water surface. Therefore, the diffusers should be attached as far below the water surface as possible. The only exception is the JBL PROFLORA DIRECT, which is built into the water return hose from the external filter. It is also equipped with a ceramic membrane through which the CO2 enters the water and dissolves on its way from the filter back into the aquarium.
