Maintains pH from neutral to slightly acidic - ideal for most plants, tropical fish and shrimp commonly found in plant aquariums.
Provides newborn shrimp with a safe haven from predators until they are large enough to crawl out.
Does not discolor water and helps control organic discoloration in the presence of natural driftwood
