Fluval Stratum 2kg

Collected from the mineral-rich foothills of the Aso volcano in Japan, Fluval Stratum is an ideal alternative substrate for plant and shrimp aquariums.

Stimulates strong plant growth - roots easily penetrate into the substrate and spread throughout the substrate to obtain essential nutrients
The porous structure facilitates the rapid colonization of beneficial nitrifying bacteria.
Maintains pH from neutral to slightly acidic - ideal for most plants, tropical fish and shrimp commonly found in plant aquariums.
Provides newborn shrimp with a safe haven from predators until they are large enough to crawl out.
Does not discolor water and helps control organic discoloration in the presence of natural driftwood

For use in freshwater aquariums
