Eheim Professionel3 carbon

The EHEIM activated carbon cartridge is an open cell filter foam completely impregnated with special activated carbon. The foam pad adsorbs dissolved harmful substances, dyes, and medication residues. After about 2 weeks, the carbon will lose its adsorption capacity, then the cartridge must be removed from the filter and a regular filter pad (blue) should be used.
