AmGuard ™ reacts with free ammonia within minutes and does not change the pH. Ammonia comes in two forms: free and ionized. Only the free form is toxic. Traditional ammonia tests convert ammonia to free ammonia, raising the pH to 12-14, at which pH no anti-ammonia drug can function. Thus, we get positive but deceptive results. Use the Ammonia Alert ™ or MultiTest ™ tests, which immediately show the level of free ammonia in the water. AmGuard ™ also removes chlorine and chloramines.

Application:
For newbies:
One lid (5ml) for 200 liters of aquarium water daily. Attention, for cans of 2 and 4 liters, the lid contains 10 ml of the drug.
For experienced aquarists:
If you have the Ammonia Alert ™ test, apply one cap (5 ml) per 400 liters of aquarium water daily. If the test shows high ammonium readings, add the drug based on a dose (5 ml) per 200 liters of aquarium water daily. If the test shows toxic doses, add the drug based on a dose (5 ml) per 80 liters of aquarium water daily.
