Regularly monitor the water temperature and adjust the number and frequency of meals based on this temperature, the state of the water, the number and size of fish and their level of activity. Avoid overeating and always remove the leftover food after eating without any residue.
For 20-30°C-feed 2-4 times a day, an amount fish can consume within 5 minutes.
For 15-20°C-feed no more than twice a day, an amount fish can consume within 5 minutes.. For best results, try to feed during the warm part of the day.
For 11-15°C - we recommend using Hikari ® Excel ® or Hikari ® Wheat-Germ Formula.
Below 11°C - we suggest using the Hikari ® formula Wheat-Germ, specially developed for digestibility at lower temperatures.
