Aquarena is a concentrated and lyophilized blend of natural bacteria with pure water. Aquarena is ideal for biological self-cleaning and maintenance of aquarium water. Organically polluted water is regenerated and harmful nitrogen compounds and phosphates are effectively reduced. This naturally prevents the growth of algae.
Aquarena also breaks down sludge and prevents the formation of fermentation gases which are toxic for the fish.
Our recommendations for use and dosage:
Use 1 or 2 times a month, depending on exposure. Pre-mix measured amount with warm aquarium water and mix well - so there are no lumps, then pour into the aquarium.
Wait a week after using medication or agents against algae, as these products are bactericidal and may reduce the effectiveness of Aquarena.
When starting up: 10 g Aquarena per 100 liters of water (about 26°C). Fish can be started after a week.
For prophylaxis: 5 g Aquarena per 100 liters of water 1 or 2 times per month.
